Lots of people in the civilized world are over weight today, this is partly due to the planet we live in. We're surrounded by toxic elements. They are all over the place, in the air we breathe in, the things we come in contact with plus the foodstuff we eat. Whenever toxins are absorbed into our systems, they get stored in fat tissue. When one's body uses stored fat, the toxins are also released and need to be removed. Many weight loss problems are tied up with toxins. A juice diet will help us securely get rid of toxins within our bodies. Many people suffer from bloated abdomens, head aches, sluggishness, insufficient energy and also weight gain. These are generally symptoms of poor nutrition and the presence of harmful toxins in our bodies. Have you ever been the victim of yo-yo dieting? After a hard battle to lose the unwanted weight, it returns even faster, usually with interest, after ending the diet plan. We need lifestyle changes and also introducing a juice diet will be a good beginning.

What's Juice Detox

A juice detox or even fast is a relatively short time (normally between 3 and 7 days) where only juices and also pure water is taken. You eat no solid foods. You should drink Two to three pints of juice per day during that time. The juices are generally varied. Both vegetable and fruit juices are combined in combinations that fit your taste. Vegetables alone frequently don't have adequate juice content while fresh fruits are full of juice. Combining both gives you great vitamins and minerals. You should continue consuming lots of water, even while on the juice diet.

Note: You need to get your Doctor's permission before beginning a juice only diet. Pregnant or even nursing mothers and kids shouldn't use a juice diet. Juice only diets are created specifically for the detoxification period alone. If you only consume juices for a long period of time, your diet plan will be deficient in proteins, fats and calcium, and you'll suffer long term consequences.

Breaking the "Fast" After a Detox Diet

It is important that you add solids to your diet progressively after a period of detoxification. Add one extra solid food each day. Start the first three days with easily digested foodstuff like steamed vegetables or yoghurt. Introduce meat proteins only from the 4th day. Don't binge; it'll make you feel sick!

What's a Juice Diet

You cannot endure long term on juices only. After the detox period, include fresh juice within your daily diet. 1 or 2 servings of fresh juice daily will ensure your body gets all of the mineral and vitamin nutrients and antioxidants required for lively living. You would do well to give one's body a regular detox with juice only, one day a week or so. Make juicing part of your food preparation and planning.
