Many men are very happy to hear that their hair loss can be avoided because a lot of guys see balding as an indicator of getting old and losing their vitality. The reality is that balding does not have to mean that one is becoming less of a man or losing his sex appeal, but appearance is everything for some guys. The fact is that most guys want to keep their barber in business, keeping their haircut appointments, rather than saving money on haircuts.

Stress can interfere with the way the body functions naturally and can interfere with the body's immune system. There are many ways to effectively reduce stress in one's life such as practicing deep breathing exercises. Tight neck muscles can be a sign that one is experiencing a stressful situation, or if one feels anxious during the day could be a sign of stress.

When the signs of stress appear it is time to take action by practicing deep breathing. Take a deep breath and hold for about ten seconds. Then exhale for about ten seconds and repeat three times. If stress symptoms have not reduced, practice deep breathing for another three sets.

Deep breathing exercises are so simple that many people believe that these exercises do not work. But, the opposite is true, these exercises are so easy that they do work. An unhealthy diet can also lead to premature balding because unhealthy food causes the body to function improperly. A high fat high sugar diet will have a negative impact on one's internal organs.

In order to prevent balding, a guy need not have to change his diet to the diet an Olympian eats, however, he does have to cut out the junk food. Cut out the fast food, the cookies, the candy, and other sugary treats. Start preparing home cooked meals that are high in vitamins rather eating a staple of processed foods high in fat and sodium.

Losing one's hair can be traced to stress, a poor diet, and poor physical conditioning. This is why physical activity is so important for the guy who does not want to go bald. One does not have to train like a professional athlete in order to be in good physical condition.

A brisk stroll around the block, a brisk stroll after the evening meal, or a visit to the gym twice weekly, is all a guy needs in order to build physical conditioning. Exercising also helps lower stress and reduced stress helps prevent balding. Exercise need not be boring, join a softball team, run around with the kids, or swim in the ocean.

Many men are afraid of hair loss because balding is seen as a sign of aging, a sign of lost sex appeal, and a loss of vitality. But, balding can be avoided if one changes his diet, handles stress, and starts an exercise program. Take time this week to go out for a walk, eat a healthy meal, or practice deep breathing exercises.
