Strong muscles, which come from adequate protein in your diet, help you fight many diseases. If we consume too many Omega-6s, they can bring about illness from bacteria and germs. Omega-3s fight the Omega-6s to prevent this from happening. A good goal to shoot for is to consume salmon twice each week. It's best if you can eat salmon three times a week, but you might find it difficult to include it in your meal plan that often. Try having it for lunch sometimes or, if you truly cannot manage three meals of salmon, stick to twice per week.

Vegetable juice is a great source of vitamins, minerals, immune boosting agents and fluids. You don't have to be loyal to V-8 Juice, though. It's very easy to buy a juicer and make your own juices in your kitchen. This gives folks the choice of which vegetables and spices to use, plus they can vary their juices instead of always drinking the same flavor. Besides perking up your immune system, drinking vegetable juices helps keep you healthy by adding necessary fluids, minerals, and vitamins to your diet.

Try to fit exercise into your schedule at least three days a week. Drink an adequate amount of water daily so your body stays hydrated.
