There is always some truth to the untruths. The reason is that each person's body reacts differently to exercise. It is not always true for all people. It is not a lie, you have to deal with questionable truths and or information on a case by case basis. You never know what you may uncover if you do a little bit of research. That is a real clue to getting to the truths about health and fitness. You ideally should take the time to research and learn. Research is the only way to make sure there is solid information about health and fitness.

Have you ever heard that swimming is a great way to lose weight? This is in no way true. Swimming has many benefits but losing pounds isn't one of them. In fact the water buoyancy that supports you during this exercise takes away from the aerobic aspects of a weight loss exercise such as jogging or running long distances.

Sweat is another subject in this series. Working out is synonymous with sweat typically speaking. Most also believe the flip side of that too. In fact sweat is simply your body's air conditioner. There is in fact no correlation between sweat and physical exertion.

You do not have to sweat to burn calories. Walking can accomplish this for you.

Mental horsepower is only one benefit of fitness exercises. A higher level of performance and brain power is what we are talking about.

Research studies have proven that regular aerobic exercise will increase your circulation too. This circulation increase will help produce increased serotonin levels in the brain. The clarity of your brain is another effect of this increased level of serotonin. This is of course not a bad thing. These myths occur in every aspect of fitness. You will locate them in statements that are vague as well as those specifically geared toward specific types of exercise or physical exertion. Before engaging in physical activity such as this you need the details, so do your due diligence.
