As the years go by, it is normal for human bodies to accrue various aches and pain, some of which stay with us for short times and others that stay forever. This is normal, and will showcase in a number of minor ways that cause steadily more obvious difficulty to people. One such difficulty is back pain Loveland CO, which here is a general term for a host of conditions that result in a person feeling regular pain in and around the lower back.

This condition is chiefly characterized by the feeling of a varying form of pain depending on the individual, in and around the lower back. This feeling differs from one person to the other and can occur as a consistent but dull ache, can occur as a piercing pain in certain areas, or discomfort felt only when certain body parts are flexed. It can also occur in places other than the lower back such as the arms, legs, chest, or internally.

This condition occurs due to a person's natural physiology, regular physical exertions, diet, and any particularly strenuous activity. The combination of these will usually decide when or if a person will experience this form of unpleasant physical sensation. Strain put on the lower back muscles as a result of any of these is quite often the cause of this problem. A person can suffer this form of unpleasant physical sensation when their body is subjected to unusually stressful activities, motionlessness for long periods, or awkward movements. Any of these can affect the lower back muscles badly and cause pain.

There are also medical conditions which can lead to a person experiencing unpleasant physical sensation at the lower back. These include herniated discs, spinal arthritis, spinal tumors, spinal stenosis, and vertebral fractures, and can be quite serious and require professional medical attention.

For the more minor cases, a simple cure for that is often prescribed is rest. Temporarily reducing the stress that a body is put under can be very effective at alleviating discomfort. During these periods the body is able to recover from the strain that caused it damage previously. It must however be noted that only some portion of this rest should be bedrest. Bedrest can be harmful when done for too long. Being stationary for long periods can often cause or even increase pains.

Exercise can also be very effective at correcting this condition. When people exercise they build up muscles and make them better at handling stress. Also, exercise can help to stretch and loosen muscles which can be useful for both preventing and correcting the discomfort.

Another simple way people have found to eliminate the discomfort is the more frequent use of backless chairs and standing desks. This is based on the observation that one of the causes of the problem is frequent sitting on chairs with backs which transfer much of the weight of the body onto the spine and reduces the load that should normally be carried by the abdominal muscles. Over time this leads to the deterioration of the abdominal muscles and the overstressing of the spine.

Despite the fact that the most likely people to experience this condition are those in their later years, it must be noted that people of all ages can suffer from it. The only real way to prevent this is by eating healthy, exercising regularly, managing strain and stress, and monitoring changes in the body.
