The shoulders are very important for every life of people. This is essential to make all things done in an easy way. Individuals who are involved in many sports, sees the importance of their shoulders and arms for any sports like tennis, basketball and tennis. It is true that the most vulnerable tissues are found in the shoulders. If the tissues are affected, these could lead to any pain caused by injuries. To prevent this condition, it is significant to do an exercise for rotator cuff.

The shoulder is the most versatile joint in the body. This versatility is a support for any movements, but also increases its weakness. There are four stable muscles which form a cuff in the muscles to keep securing the joints. Knowing the proper ways to avoid any injuries and to protect your rotator cuff muscles, will also help you to lessen the possibility of frustration and pain.

These four muscles are the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis. These muscles can be easily remembered with their acronym, SITS. Each of them has their own jobs for the rotator cuff. The supraspinatus is a scapular spine that helps to move the arm to the side. Infraspinatus and teres minor are located at the back of the shoulder blade and it rotates externally the arm. Subscapularis is situated on the front of the shoulder blade and it is for the internal rotation of the arms.

You can perform an exercise that is not too intense that could injure the joints. You must always remember that you stretch the weakest joint in the body. You just have warm up first before exercising. You can have the exercise like internal and external rotation, wall push ups and side lying. You must be careful in performing these exercises.

This is beneficial for those who are engaged in sports as part of their daily routine. This is an effective way to improve more in playing the sports such as tennis, volleyball and basketball. This is important so that athletes can avoid injuries and to worsen their condition.

It is true that every part, tissues and muscles in the body has their own responsibilities to run the system smoothly and to have a good body condition. However, if these parts are not functioning properly, there is a tendency that it can also affect the whole condition of the body. Thus, a proper work out is really helpful to achieve a good rotator muscle condition.

Some would say that athletes are only the one who will be affected with rotator cuff injuries. But they are wrong, this is for everyone. People who are involved in a lifting job are most likely prone to these conditions. Since they are carrying heavy objects, there are possibilities that they are also affected.

It is better to do muscle strengthening and stretching for your joints. If these tissues are formed together, they will maintain the stability of each joint. This will prevent strains in your joint that will keep you active in your daily activities.

Before doing any exercises, you should consult first your physician on the best way to heal the pain you feel. Do not also use heavy equipment in exercising such as dumbbells so that there will be no joints that will be affected. It is better to prevent before any situation that will happen.
