There are all sorts of fat reduction products on the market these days. Some of those products and solutions really are supposed to help people lose weight. Other items, however, appear to be conceived purely for the purpose of making tons of money off of desperate people. Some items are so outrageous that we thought we would spotlight them here in this article so that you know not to fall for the promises they make.

Have you seen the weight reduction ring yet? This is usually a band of silver that is coiled around repeatedly and is meant to be worn on your index finger. The ring is built to put an excellent amount of pressure on the pressure points that people imagine are supposed to help you lose weight. Science has proven that there are some pressure points in the human body that, when touched, really can be used to help you feel better. Seabands, to apply one example, are meant to trigger specific pressure points to help you control motion sickness. The thought that one band on your own finger will force your body to actively lose weight is stupid.

Have you found the neck line slimmer yet? This is a product that, apparently, supposed to help firm the muscles in your neck to help counterbalance any loose or hanging skin. It does this, apparently via vibration. Any doctor worth his co-pay will tell you that when you have a bunch of extra skin hanging from your face or your neck, the skin has already been stretched out and is unlikely, even if your neck muscles strengthen, to shrink back up into the firm skin of your youth. If you are uneasy about the skin on your neck, talk to your doctor.

Do you know what the Belly Burner Weight Loss Belt is? This belt, evidently, uses heat to help you literally melt off the fat as you wear the belt itself. According to the advertising materials, this belt works by activating your core which then makes your weight fall off...how? We have yet to really find that out. It's true that sweating can burn calories but there is no way to guarantee that those calories will only be burned away from the part of your body covered by the belt. A speedy visit with your health care provider should enable you to realize that this product is designed to do one thing: get your money.

The sincere truth is that there are many people who only want to take your money from you. They know that you're feeling vulnerable with regards to your weight and that you are desperate to lose it and they prey on that vulnerability and desperation. A lot of individuals want to lose weight but are afraid of just how much work it is going to take to get there. If doing this were effortless, far more people would be able to do it. The real truth is that slimming down is not effortless. There seriously isn't any secret pill, accessory or piece of clothing that will do your work for you.
