Unless one has an Olympic-size facility, maintenance should not be hugely expensive, nor overly time-consuming. This is an entertainment area that is usually in high demand in the warm summer months. As such, every owner desires a quick and easy upkeep solution.

Salt swimming pool chlorinators will provide the clarity and cleanliness required at a very reasonable price and without hours of work. Equally importantly, chemical products are avoided. This is a key consideration in respect of health and safety.

More salt is required only for water that has been added. This usually means adding salt when water is topped up after the cleaning process. The amount of salt required is dependent on the number of liters of water utilized.

This method of utilizing salt is not new. Chlorinators have been in use for nearly 35 years. They have, however, grown in popularity in recent years.

The fact that there is a decided increase in the number of young people and adults who suffer from asthma and hay fever will probably increase demand. These swimmers will struggle to breathe comfortably in traditionally chlorinated water. They are not, however, affected by the salt which has, in addition, an antiseptic quality.

Swimming pool chlorinators are staking a claim in the market. A small amount of salt in the water is beneficial to all. Bathers are spared the disagreeable odor and taste of chlorine while at the same time benefiting from a gentle antiseptic. The impact on the pocket is always an important consideration and the reduced maintenance costs are significant.
